This is the problem with “Hacks”. The only person who really knows the source of the problem is the person who wrote the code. What they find out, however, is that theyve been hacked, and the hacker has released a code.
That code is now out there, and it goes against everything they know. The hacker is now out of a job, but they still have to catch him, and the only way to do that is to find the code and find out what he’s going to do with it. For some reason, they haven’t done that yet, but it’s coming.
The hacker has apparently hacked into matthew scully-hicks company network, which means they already know about the code, and they have no idea what it is. This is a problem because they need to figure out how to get it to work for them, and they don’t have any idea of the code’s capabilities. Not too long ago they were able to get the code to work for them, and now they can’t.
Well, in theory they are able to do whatever they want with the code, but in practice, they don’t know how to find the code. In the trailer Matt mentions that hes going to do something like “get it on the internet; then I’m gonna do whatever I want with it.
Not every problem has a solution. In this case, the problem comes from an inability to figure out how to get the code to work for them. What this means is that Matt Scully is actually not going to get the code to work for him. Instead, it’s going to take him years of work, and he will never get the code to work for him.
