It is not uncommon to see sand roads or gravel roads in new construction homes. This is a good thing too! The new construction home in our neighborhood was built by a contractor who used sand to pave the road. It was a beautiful, smooth, and level road. It seems like a great idea to get rid of the gravel road, but that is a decision that many homeowners have to make as they are constructing their new homes.
This is a good idea in a couple of ways. One, it is an easy way to make the road more appealing to walkers and bikers. And, two, this is a great way to make it easier to get around on and off the road. Just keep in mind that gravel roads have different properties than paved roads so it may take some time to get used to the new road’s feel.
