At their recent earnings call, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said that they may make their own Tegra 3 mobile processors. So Nvidia is going to be able to run Android games on Tegra 3. It seems the Tegra 2 market is a little bit of a mess these days, with Nvidia and Amazon buying up every last bit of Tegra 2 space.
Nvidia and Amazon are both going to be playing a huge role in the development of Android, so don’t expect it to be a cheap phone. Tegra 3 is going to be the cheapest mobile chip on the market, and they have said as much. I’m sure they’re thinking of the millions of dollars in royalties they’ll be making on their Tegra 2 deals.
