And in the case of the IAS, it is also what they do well. They’re not just there to make up for it. That is their duty. Without that, there is nothing to be done.
An IAS is something that you are born with. There isn’t much you can do about that, until you get good enough at it to do something better. You have to do something about it. You can’t just live with your IAS because that is when the real work is done. That is when you set an example to others. It is the responsibility of every officer to act as an example to their fellow officers.
