I’ve known Dilip for years, and we’ve had multiple conversations about the things that he and I have in common. The one thing that I will never forget is this: He is a gentleman. Dilip was always at his best when he was in the company of others. He was kind to everyone he came across, and he was always willing to help others when he could. I will miss him dearly.

I was lucky enough to be able to talk to Dilip while I was in New York last year for a conference. He was gracious and open, and he shared some great memories about his time in the industry with me. While I’m not sure how I’ll be able to pay my respects to him in person, I will certainly be keeping an ear out for any updates and will keep everyone posted.

Dilip is now remembered as the person who helped me get my first website off the ground. He was a true professional, and a great friend.

Deathloop is a game that is, like the industry itself, constantly evolving. Many of the updates and new features are the result of Dilip’s input. He was the one who helped me bring on an awesome designer and the one who made the prototype for the game, and even helped me design and implement the game’s visual style.

For a guy who helped me get my first website off the ground, Dilip made lots of things happen in the industry like the design of Deathloop, and the very first game I ever played. He was also the guy who helped me get the game to where it is today. He helped me get the game to the game of it’s current form, and made sure it was the best possible version.

Dilip lived a very full life. He was an artist, designer, and programmer. He was also a musician, a photographer, and an avid collector of swords. He was also the one who helped me get my first website off the ground in 1996, and the one who helped me get the game to where it is today.
