The “goa writers group” is a weekly writing seminar held at my home in Goa, India. I’ve been invited a few times to join them and I love what they do. They are a great way to meet new people and have an informative conversation. The most recent one was a great way to learn more about the city I call home. If you are planning to attend, I highly suggest you come early in the day and grab a coffee.
The goa writers group is only open to writers from India, the country that makes the most goa in the world. The group is also open to writers from the United States and anyone living in India.
The only caveat is you have to be over 21. They have some pretty strict rules on membership. You have to be able to read and write. They also have a strict dress code which is rather strict. You have to wear comfortable clothes. You can’t have tattoos, have piercings, or be wearing anything with logos or logos on it. You have to stay hydrated. You have to be able to show up with a clean towel.
Goa is a town in Karnataka, India. It’s a tourist destination, so if you’re not going to be visiting the town, you should be comfortable, not too drunk, and definitely not showing up in an unkempt attire. If you’re looking for a fun and casual weekend getaway, this might be the best place for you.
Goa is known for its warm weather, bright colors, and a laid back attitude to life. It has a laid back attitude to life because like a lot of parts of India, this is more an area of country which is used to being in the spotlight than anything else. The people here are very laid back and very comfortable with themselves. They are not worried about the outside world.
The writers group is made up of about a dozen individuals who get together every two or three months to discuss all things related to writing or writing in general. There are also regular themed events and classes such as the Writers’ Retreat which are well worth a trip. This is a great place to meet up with people who are not always in the same boat as you.
